Digital Marketing Manager

SUMMARY

We are a 26-year old company with a fun culture consisting of many long term team members, seeking an experienced apartment industry Marketing Manager. In this role, you will develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, lead acquisition, foster customer retention, execute business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building. The right candidate will analyze current marketing objectives and spend-rate, and build a strategy to streamline processes to enhance our brand identity and goals.

SKILLS FOCUS

  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and manage blogging that attracts and converts our target group(s).
  • Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to drive exposure and qualified traffic to sales team and website.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels, such as content creation, content curation, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis.
  • Responsible for coordinating trade shows, direct mailing lists, data evaluation, and social media posts for our two divisions.
  • Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics.
  • Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow and ROI.
  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continual improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience building complex marketing programs and reporting on the results.
  • Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages.
  • Ability to research and identify prospective markets/clients.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • (Preferred) Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Understanding of KPIs and how to measure success or failure.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, preference for Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business (or similar).

DETAILS

  • 20 - 25 hours per week (at present); possible transition to full-time -
  • $25 - $35 per hour
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • Flexible work schedule (office hours only)
  • Preferred position located, Raleigh, NC (possibly remote)
